my trips have been getting more pleasant lately, thank god, after 3 months of shit. last night was unusual. i take ketamine in bed with my partner, and we cuddle. i already have very keen senses ordinarily, but last night it felt like at the peak, my sense of smell exploded. i was feeling some euphoria while touching him, and i felt like i was suddenly inundated with the most intoxicating scents, like i was just drinking it in. i have smelled these scents before, but never this acutely. i could see it with my eyes closed as cinnamon and gold colored currents in the air, and it was fucking delicious. my partner smelled overwhelmingly good, like a deep and powerful perfume, and i was convinced i was smelling pheromones or something. i know i already have a very good sense of smell, but this was different. it was like i unlocked some unused sensitivity.

lately on ketamine i’ve also been really getting into feeling like… a cat. it’s such a comfort, stretching, curling up deep into my partner’s arms, feeling small and soft. i hold the ketamine in my mouth for a long time too because i like being unable to talk and feeling like i’m just a little creature. it’s extremely relaxing. the acute sense of smell really added to the experience.
