In the first, I completed a round of three IV treatments at a local clinic. I was advised to complete all four but decided three was my limit at the time. Quick notes:
-For me, it helped dramatically. I am now fully off of my panic and anxiety medicine (Prestiq). This is remarkable given how I have always struggled in this regard. DISCLAIMER: This applies to me and my situation, please don't get off medication without talking to your doctor, which I did.
- I feel like it lit a fire in me after the first three rounds. Brain fog got better, as well as True Focus supplements from Amazon which are affordable and helpful for me.
Ultimately, I decided to complete another round of 3 (August 1, 3, 8). One, I feel another round of doses make sense for me before I begin the school year as a teacher. Two, I want to strengthen and maintain some of these new pathways in my brain.
I am in the process of buying a house and debated whether to delay these treatments but decided not to for one main reason: ketamine treatments have improved my quality of life that much.
KikiBird747 is a wonderful person from Reddit that created a great playlist. It's instrumental, nature and a mix. It has been a life saver to me. It forces me not to skip songs (which I LOVE to do) and focus on myself in the moment. Here is it: Ketamine Infusion Calm Nature Playlist.
If you are on and have a bad session, give this playlist a listen. I tried "my" music once and it failed miserably.
