Psychiatrist refusing to prescribe my meds because of Spravato

Hi all. I saw a new psychiatrist yesterday. I followed up today to ask if she had refilled the medications for my bipolar disorder and PTSD and she said no, she was going to do anything with my meds until after I’ve completed treatment.

Thing is, I’ll run out of my Lithium, my anti psych, and my anti depressant before then and we all know how that will end up.

She tried to warn me against Spravato and said the longterm consequences are unknown and that if I want to proceed with treatment, she can’t touch my meds until afterwards.

What are your thoughts?
