People who have visted Universal Hollywood and Disneyland in same trip. How did you do it?

Title asks all. My fiancé and i are planning our honeymoon, and we would like to do both disneyland and Universal. I know people have done it, but we are wondering if anyone has any insight on the best option to do both We do have starting at disneyland as the disney bundle includes hotel and tickets Thanks in advance.
Edit: So wanted to add nekther of us are comfortable driving. Especially on LA, so we want to avoid that
