I'm gonna try to leave spoilers out, but with 2 episodes left, I think HBO are running out of time.
If we're working off of normal airtime plus extended finale we've got 110 mins of screen time left. Majority of this is gonna be burnt on Ep8 and the beginning of the finale.
Way I see it, there's gonna be some tight timing to get all of the action in the finale in. With hopefully introducing Abby and Dad, which I think is guaranteed, considering Dina had a slight Cameo in Ep6. Finding Marlene again and the conversations and confrontations of that. that's not just straight up action. We know there will be from footage, but I hope there's more, if not the amount of story driven material in the last 45 mins.
Then there's the ride back to Jackson and Joel speaking to Tommy about what happened at St Mary's.
I think to fit all of that in in under 45 mins will be hard, especially when GM and ND are paying SO much attention to detail.
Thoughts??
