Is there a cost of quality to the 'lazy' route?
Post Body

Using extracted lysergic alkaloids as a starting material instead of lysergic acid, one can make iso-LSD and convert from there. After conversion there is left both LSD and iso-LSD. The Iso-LSD can be re extracted and further converted after subsequent runs.

How much iso-LSD relative to LSD is roughly remaining in the initial run? Does the effort of further extraction outway the more tedious method of converting to d-lysergic acid to LSD? The process in which to extract iso-LSD is pretty tedious by itself, one has to work in almost complete darkness doing pretty hands on stuff.

The method of which is listed above comes from a book from the 70's. Have modern methods improved upon this process?

Redlight is cancer to work with but I wouldn't call it pitch black.
