Neat little life hack I just discovered.
Post Body

Many of you probably already know this, but for a rudimentary gravity filtration mechanism/dessicant chamber, a bell jar lid, since the threads are so coarse, will thread on the jar (they are even made to be compatible with many recycled spaghetti sauce jars) with a coffee filter between them as pictured. For a home made dessicant chamber, just fill the filter with your dessicant of choice (magnesium sulfate is what I use) and place the metal disk on, then the ring, and tighten it. Like I said, there are better ways but this works in a pinch, thought maybe some would find it useful.
