Unfortunately it’s a stigmatizing label. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to approach this in a way that doesn’t harm the performer (me)?

Or is the best situation to hide it as much as possible?

In a perfect world we’d all be able to be accommodated and respected but ableism is real! I don’t want to be seen as less than.
