I'm on a rewatch and I'm wondering why Leah told Faber and Young about the phone call to Jeffrey on their first night of the island. I've seen the show so I know that at the point of her being interviewed she's already distrusting of the situation. I know she eventually uses the moment to take a look at the files they have but what was the benefit of giving them that secret?
I might be answering my own question here but was it to see if they already knew about her relationship with Jeff and her island life? Or just to fake them out to take a look at their paperwork on her? Or something else?
