Hey XO hope y’all are doing well. :) so I have this theory that maybe Timeless and São Paulo are tracks within the first part of the album. With the album’s theme of being reborn and reaching for the light, São Paulo and Timeless fit a darker, After Hours/Dawn FM theme, Sparking my belief that this album is going to be a battle between The Weeknd persona and Abel Tesfaye. In the DITF MV Abel shrieks and shows the red flickering like he did in his After Hours Era, implying that The Weeknd is far from gone. He wants Abel to stay in purgatory and not move on from his dark past, while Abel’s spirit is longing to reach healing/the light. (Like in the dancing in the flames MV). The middle/end of the album might include songs like Run Away (unofficial) and Dancing In The Flames (single) to get closer to a state of healing/ possible death of The Weeknd persona, With Abel reaching the light and being reborn as Abel Tesfaye,(the child in his promo vids for the album) leaving The Weeknd behind him. OR not reaching heaven/healing, with heaven’s gates closing on him just before making it in, leading Abel to accept that he’ll never be able to leave The Weeknd persona behind, and that it’ll always be a part of him. Eventually making peace with it and reaching a state of healing. (This is all speculation I could be completely wrong lol) thank you for reading. 🫶🏻
