Its so perfectly done, the music choice, the tone of the scene and the fact that Lee doesn’t care what happens to him but hes willing to plough through basically an army of zombies to save clem. I dont think anyone in the whole game would have the balls to do that apart from maybe Kenny.
I would have loved to have seen Rick do a similar thing for Carl in the show.
But what really sets the tone is how he picks up the broken glass and squeezes it just as the music starts, showing he doesn’t care about any pain anymore, physical or mental.
That scene gets better every time I see it.
