I honestly think Doug is a better character. His interactions are more funny and his death in episode 3 is more dramatic. Everyone likes to worship Carly for her only talent, being good with a gun. But like the entire group besides The kids are shown to be good with guns, besides Larry, who was a Sargent in the military so he probably knows how to he efficient with one. What the group lacked was someone with smarts, which Carly DEFINITELY doesn't bring that to the table. But Dougs shown to be very smart, so add him to the group and it's alot more capable. He's also shown to be more productive, during episode 2 he'll actually spend his free time setting up a useful tripwire alert trap while Carly just chills. If Doug could give lee the opportunity to tell others about his past he would be a no brainer option for me lmao
