Stefan and Elena had cute moments, but honestly, why would they get back together?

Stefan and Caroline was just starting to get figure out their relationship and for Stefan to just backtrack and go back to Elena would be a shitty thing to do. This could hurt Caroline and her friendship with both Stefan and Elena.

(Some stelena fans might not care about this point) But this could also end up hurting damon and ruining his relationship with both as well. Not to mention, since Bonnie is team Damon, Bonnie relationship with both could be destroyed as well.

If stelena was to get back together, they would've already put them back together. And don't give me that "well Julie..." and other crap. The show knew that Nina was leaving at the end of season 6 before the show even started, so if they wanted Stelena to be together, they would've been together or stayed together.
