It's 8 in the morning and I'm straight up sobbing at the scene of Caroline turning her humanity back on and realizing she'll never get to know what her mom wanted to say to her in her final moments.
Post Body

Just straight up tears pouring y'all. Have I watched it before? Yes. Does it hurt as much as it did the first time? Perhaps even more. It honestly always pisses me off that Elena gave her the letter so early on into their "dry out, torture, bombard" scheme, especially knowing that Caroline was so resistant to turning her humanity on and would thwart any attempts to force her into it.

Anyway, I'm glad that Stefan was able to show her some of those memories with Liz.
