In the first episode we see that in order to get to Stefan's room, you have to take the staircase by the back door, inside Zach's study. There is no other way to get to that room and that staircase doesn't lead to any other room. Then later everyone always uses the main stairs to get to his room! Those stairs would never lead there. And Damon tells someone Stefan's room is up the stairs and down the hall to the right. There is no hall! I don't know why this bothers me so much. Like when Damon and Elena come down for her birthday. Or when Stefan comes down to Elena after helping Vicki. Or when Stelena sleeps together for the first time they go up through that room. I get that it would have been inconvenient to go to those stairs every time but it's all I can think about when I see him come out of his room.
