Just rewatched and when Katherine rocks up and gets all dicey with johns fingers I’d have actually loved it if they’d had her doing sneaky things for a few episodes before the reveal. Have Elena’s things go missing from her room, move things around, have Katherine pretend to be Elena on screen more, just really mess with them all.
Not sure if anyone has watched PLL here but her doing A style tricks on them would have been so entertaining.
Yeah it’s a shame Nina is done because a Katherine backstory spin off would be epic!
Yeah they just wanted a reason to have her in storylines but couldn’t be bothered to really think it through. I hated her becoming Elena, skip it every time. She should have gone out saving Nadia and going to the other side. We could have then had a return when when Bonnie brought the others back.
I wouldn’t change a thing about the actual reveal, just the build up. You’re right though it was such a mad season finale with so many storylines to tie up.

It was such a good reveal. Girl was not playing! Early Katherine was the best character on the show at that point.
