Just posted on this sub like an hour ago, so hi again! Currently rewatching TVD after not watching it for almost a decade and even then I only got up to season 5. I’m fine with spoilers past that point if it comes up, I already know how the series ends.
Anyways, I think Founder’s Day is the strongest episode so far. It really resonated with me and it felt very fleshed out and thought through. I loved the foreshadowing of Tyler and his dad being werewolves but it not being revealed yet. Jeremy’s suicide attempt was heartbreaking. Damon taking accountability for Vicki. Stefan saving Damon. Katherine posing as Elena (holy shit moment but I could spot it almost immediately because of Nina’s acting: the different way she delivered her lines, her facial expressions, down to the look in her eyes. It was so obviously Katherine.) And so much more! What do you guys think of this episode?
