How are you going to watch a show that has a bunch of vampires who are villains and kill people, I’m going to blow your mind when i say this, but the whole point of the show is about killing and romanticizing villains but bring morals into this??? I actually hate it cause people treat Damon like he’s a horrible person when Katherine, Tyler, klaus and a lot of other characters i have done the same shit as him. I also just don’t think you’re a fan if you can hate so hard on Damon, Elena, and klaus.

Note: I was gonna go into depth about my point of view and respond thoroughly to comments. But this fandoms toxicity showed like crazy in these comments. But i think it’s just Reddit. I think yall just hate anyone who likes Damon which is sad considering (im not even solely a Damon fan i love Stephan just as equally) and that’s the issues. It’s crazy how many times I’ve been told that I’m “dictating people’s opinions” or I’m “policing people” which is crazy cause never in this thread did i say “yall are not allowed to say this, that or the third”. Which is another key point cause I’m not the only person with an opposing opinion who gets treated like this. Yall are just toxic and no one wants to engage with that period. I’m done reading anymore comments from this thread cause they are just rinse and repeat.
