Do you think Katherine actually loved Damon?

I'm doing my yearly rewatch and I was wondering if y'all think Katherine ever actually loved Damon? We all know that she was in love with Stefan and cared about him more than Damon even though I do think she cared about Damon. But do y'all think she actually loved him? In Season 2 Episode 1, she tells him that she never loved them, but I think that was more to get in his head and mess with the brother bond since that was her main goal at the time. But I always find myself wondering on my rewatches if she ever actually did love him at one point, in her own, twisted, Katherine way.
