My fan theory as I'm heading into the North part of the island is this is that we are in a different layer of the simulation. Now it's simulating how individuals can work together as a society to rebuild. If they pass this next test, they will go on to the next step, which at this time I'm not sure. Maybe that would be the real real world or another layer?
