Lucario/Metagross - IV’s important?

Good afternoon all,
So I have a limited amount of Riolu/Beldum Candies available, with some mid 90 rating UL candidates and mid 90 IVs.
If I was to invest in a UL or 93% IV build of either, am I likely to suffer for not having a higher rating or are they still useful? Likely to take me a while to replace the candies for both again.
