Let's GO Pikachu/Let's GO Eevee "Meltan Sharing"

I have a question. I dont see why this wouldnt work but I have 4 people in my house (including me) that play GO and want Meltan. Yes we can do the Special Research but that wont get us even close to getting Melmetal.
My question is, can different people use the same game to get Meltans? I know you can only open a box once a day and stuff like that but is it possible for 4 people to use the same LGP/LGE game?
