[Bug] Equator bug that limits interaction range is still not fixed for almost a year

As some of you that travels to other countries frequently, you will notice that different country have different interaction with pokestops/gyms range. Countries nearer to the equator have smaller range (even smaller than the circle that appears from your character). This has been a significant impact and can cause error due to GPS drifting.

I'm gonna dig up an old thread that details the problem with this bug and potential solution that can be implemented.

/u/NianticGeorge & /u/NianticIndigo please bring up this issue to the higher up as I have sent numerous support tickets on this issue and received no reply at all. Moreover, this issue isn't listed as a known bug.
