Felt like I could openly talk so I will try to with as minimal spoilers as possible. For me the show was incredibly strong, that is until key characters left which you can tell put the writers in an incredible bind. These 2 in particular legitimately broke entire plot lines, halted character growth, and made so many forced situations happen. S1-4 were really fun! As someone in the med field it’s always neat to see things I get to work with on a daily basis and I’m glad they somewhat portrayed in accurately. Outside of this, the relationships that were built felt genuine and thus my extreme disappointment with S5-6. Regardless I don’t regret watching, I just wish it ended a bit more clearly instead of shrouded in ambiguity/assumptions. We’re led to believe many things are to have a good outcome, but those aren’t so clear. Out of all characters though that leave me conflicted is Devon. They really drug his character development through the mud and I feel the writing for him created a very egotistical know-it-all. I never enjoyed the later seasons of him. He alone was probably the only character I would change. I’d give the series as a whole 6.5/10. Not horrible, worth the watch, but dang did it fall off quite a bit in the later seasons. Welp that’s my yap session. Would love to hear from some other people’s POV.
