When do you phone the doctors if you have cold/flu symptoms?

I've been ill since thursday, not in work since Friday. I'm still occasionally voming and getting those horrible hot cold shakes. When can I phone the doctor, without being a pansy and making a fuss?
Hubs is working away atm so I've no one to fetch me Lemsip and snuggle with :(
