Began work on adding more custom music to jukeboxes, along with a GUI for picking songs that players have access to.
Map has been worked on heavily over the past week but is not complete. However, here are some screenshots to show the progress.
Buildings
Building designs have been a bit of a hot topic for many players. Buildings can be formed as shown in this video. This is what the buildings currently look like. We're decent builders, but we know that many of you are much better, so we are opening up the designs for the buildings to be made by everyone else! In one week's time, we will collect the entries and make decisions (that is Monday, May 8th).
We will decide by the following weekend which designs we will be using. Please submit these via modmail with a link to the files. It could be a world, it could be as schematics, whatever is easiest for you!
Rules For Building
- They have to be built within a 5x5x5 cube, on top of a 5x5 base of sand.
- They must be neutral so they can work with multiple building styles, ideally something that can tile (like how the kiln could theoretically have multiples next to it, if we were to allow multiples to be built)
- If feel like our base design fits the building's focus best, we will stick to that design.
- If there's a design we like, but there's a certain block we are using for something else (like a sea lantern), we will use a different block in the design instead.
Building Purposes
Kiln - Smelts clay, stone, sand, etc faster
Crusher - Crush cobblestone to gravel, gravel to sand, and sand to dust/random items like nuggets, bone meal, sticks, etc.
Library - Used to reset the cost of fixing an enchanted item (EXP-wise), allows you to store experience in an item
Town Center - Gives you a message you can send to players in a radius and stops players from building blocks within a radius
Upgraded Town Center - Stops mob spawns within a radius and stops players from building blocks within a radius and Exiled players cannot enter within a radius
Smeltery - Smelt ore efficiently and craft armor and tools efficiently
Barracks - Adds guards to the nation
Pier - Allows players to get better fishing loot within a radius
Granary - Allows players to right click crops to harvest and replant with a small chance of getting bonus drops
Printing Press - Copy player-written books
City Hall - Adds named villagers to the location that are replaced if killed.
