A long long time ago, in the golden ages of the Silvers (thousands of years ago), there was a man who preached a God unheard of. He says the Eternity Golems, the godlike (but not God) creatures that ruled over the earth were adherents of the Night. The Night would be the worlds end, where the sun will never rise and the undead and monstrosities of the shadows will overtake the world as we know it. The man preached that there was only one true God; the Ahura-Samas. Not a God of light or a God of the sun but rather the Sun itself in all of its divinity. The Ahura-Samas created the world in its molten forge and with the help of the faithful, it would keep the Night at bay. At the time, this "Divine Sun" never spoke to the people, as it just rose and set so people thought the prophet was insane. Seen as a threat to their power, the Eternity Golems demanded the man be baked to death by the Suns heat. A cruel? twisted and ironic death. But when the man died, he turned to ash that rose into the air. And for the first time in forever, the Ahura-Samas spoke.

And after all of the Ahura-Samas' children and the Eternity Golems were destroyed by the 1st Invaders, the Ahura-Samas stayed silent. The only one who was left was me, the immortal Silver who hid in a cave for thousands of years until the next people came. And now that the 2nd Invaders have arrived, the Ahura-Samas speaks again.

So I donated for an Ascended, which happens to be a God represented by the Sun itself. The name, "Ahura-Samas" is a combination of Middle Persian (Ahura meaning divine, mighty, etc) and Akkadian (Samas meaning Sun) so the word literally means the Divine Sun.

The Ahura-Samas, it who gives us light, cannot stop the Night by itself. With your help, the Night will be at bay and we may bring the light to this world.
