Could somebody please, for the love of God teach me how to buy covered calls?

I feel like I could do so much better if I could buy covered calls, but for the life of me, I just can't figure it out. Can anybody please point me I feel like I could do so much better if I could buy covered calls, but for the life of me, I just can't figure it out. Can anybody please point me toward tutorial that can show me how to do it like I'm a three year old? I feel like every time I try and research it myself. They use so much industry jargon that I just get frustrated and throw in the towel.
