So there were a lot of posts about the "the emperor has eyes everywhere" line of Kikimora, and a lot of theories who is the rat in a CAT fur.
One of the more popular ones, that I do sadly believe in, is that Raine still hides something.
And if we look at the last episode... Moreover to the Snapdragon flower, or them talking Eda to get a sigil, or the focus on their eyes, in a rewatch I found to more evidences to think about.
The first one is that after the wholesome Eda, King and Luz talk, Luz asks Raine to protect Eda. This looks like a sad Luz part with no big relevance, but when I think about it... Raine is hesitating for a bit. And this whole big question feels like a forshadowing for the moment Raine won't protect Eda.
And the second one and the reason I wrote all this? When talking on the airship, a moment before going to talk with Eda and marking her with the Sigil, Raine catches a leaf from the air, dragged by wind. This wouldn't be wierd if this episode wasn't so tight, everything means something... And they were so high in the air, a lot above all trees. There is no possible way a leaf was dragged so high in the air. Raine looks at it for a moment just before going to talk to Eda... And who do we know to control Raine and use plant magic, that is able to send messages on leafs?
For conclusion, I am scared. Raine is the traitor makes more and more sense every rewatch... And King's tide will probably has more trauma than everything we know so far.
