Wouldn't going up against the krill be just as easy as bombing them into oblivion with UV bombs?

Or at the very least using some form of terra forming technology, which I assume they have, and making a bomb that changes the atmo of the planet to allow deadly UVs to come through.

Yes I'm talking genocide but in the "thought exercise" of war, their opponent is very easy to eradicate.

Like I get the planetary union is "peaceful" but after finding out their biological weaknesses. Wouldn't the military want to figure out ways to exploit that?

Thoughts? I love fantasy sci-fi like this show, SG1 and BSG but sometimes I get knocked out of the fantasy.
