I haven't watched Season 5 yet, but I know what happens. Safe to say I'm bitterly disappointed with how this magnificent world, with complex engaging characters ultimately ended. I'm not even sure I want to commit myself to S5 in all honesty, but perhaps that's a little harsh.
Point is, I've seen many a fan declare in the face of a finale that angered and/or underwhelmed a headcanon for how The Originals actually "ends".
I've seen the end of S4 banded about rather frequently. But do you have a headcanon that differs from that? I'm curious to know people's thoughts on this!
