The michelson brothers or the salvatore brothers?

Personally I prefer the relationship between the michelsons and I find them more alluring. They have this otherworldly-Ness about them. In rewatching the vampire diaries since I'm mostly caught up with the originals and finding that the originals is such a superior show. Its shocking to me that vampire diaries had 9 seasons and the orginals barely made it to five. The stories are so much more captivating in the originals in my opinion.
