Ok, so Advanced Machines is the only reason that we are still on 1.0, in fact we would have updated weeks ago if it wasn't for advanced machines. I've been keeping an eye on the thread and it appears that the original author tried to update it, then went dead about a week ago. Other people are going to try to rewrite the mod from scratch, but this will definitely take awhile. So we need to come to an agreement as to what we are going to do about this mod.

Advanced machines is becoming more and more redundant with each IC update. We can now speed up the default machines with new IC content. The only reason we need them still is for the advanced solars, which Alblaka plans on adding into IC anyway. I propose that we remove the mod entirely, or i fear we will be staying on 1.0 for a long time.

Now this leads to another problem, everyone has built their bases around the mod. So removing it will require refunds on all of the machines/solars and people will need to redesign their base to support a solar grid. Also, anyone who hasn't been on in awhile might not trade in their stuff, and we will need to hunt the map and remove these blocks. I propose that we nuke the current map, update all of the mods, and start fresh. This isn't really ideal as people have built up bases on the map, and its only been up for a few months. But in order for us to start advertising we will need to update the mods, and it would be nice to promote the server as brand new. I'll leave this open to everyone to vote on, so please state your opinion on this issue, even if its neutral.

EDIT: Appears everyone is in favour so far, maybe ill get around to updating and IF enough other players voice their disagreement we will roll back to the other map.
