So Jeb decided to give the link to the 1.8 .jar file to the public on the official #Minecraft IRC channel. I've tried it out, and it's amazing.

I'll have the new server up by tonight. I used the .jar file for the server from the same source and ran it off my dad's computer and it ran fine for me and my brother. Just remember that the map is a throwaway.

BACK TO 1.8 WITH ME.

Just throw that in over your current minecraft.jar in .minecraft\bin, and load up through the launcher. Enjoy!)
