I mention it because there are possibly some people who are staying away because of the way he amped up the stress level on the server. We waffled about it for a while. Ultimately, it was a comment from one of the other ops which finalized the decision: someone remarked that white19angel was probably the most successful griefer we've ever had. That hadn't occured to any of us before, because we think of griefing as damaging other people's builds. Instead he was griefing chat and ventrilo.

He didn't do anything specifically wrong, except being extremely annoying to everyone. And I don't feel the need to explain my actions, but I do want there to be an atmosphere where players feel like they can ask questions and (respectfully) appeal decisions we make.

That's also why I created the post about creeper explosions. Ultimately, we want the server to be fun, for everybody. This guy was sucking out the fun, so I banned him. (That particular decision is final--he's not coming back.)
