Good day. I'm sure this is written up in a long lost forum somewhere, but I scoured the internet looking for anything and all I can really find is the wikipedia page and articles rewriting what the wikipedia page says.
"The band originally comprised, Doug Thompson on vocals, Dexter Holland on guitar, Greg K on bass and Jim Benton on drums."
I read that Jim Benton and Doug Thompson only were present in '84. The wikipedia page says that Marcus Parrish was added in '85 very briefly on lead guitar after Dexter took vocals and James Lilja took over drums. It says that Noodles replaced Parrish in '85. I've also read comments before on forums that Parrish is basically lying to the world and that he was only ever present for a few jams with the band. Parrish actually has a Linkedin account and states that he was with Manic Subsidal/The Offspring from '84-'85.
I read on a forum something about a guy named WiseAcre saying that he is Doug Thompson and that he was in fact in the band and wrote "several big hits for the band." I have read that on the song "Sorority Bitch" that you see in the Americana video, that it is Doug Thompson on vocals?
Who are these people and is there any information pertaining to them? Has Noodles ever written something about them on Twitter? I'm just curious because Wikipedia has very little.
