So I've got both an iPhone and android phone which meant I could get the Pax app easily. But I wanted it on my iPhone and ideally without a jailbreak.

Some people very helpfully published the .ipa file (the type of file for iOS apps) online, and reddit user u/iVapeWithPax made a pastebin where he tested the Pax app's .ipa for viruses.

Originally this was for jailbroken devices, but it does work without jailbreak using AltStore. AltStore recently updated to allow you to sideload apps for free (previously was a only a feature for Patreon Supporters) so all you have to do is set it up and you're off.

For myself, it was as simple as installing iCloud/iTunes on my PC, downloading AltServer/AltStore (the PC part of AltStore is AltServer), and then downloading the Pax app's .ipa and opening it with AltStore on my phone.

Boom, that's all it took and it's working fine. The iOS app looks a lot better than the Android (pretty classic problem, iOS apps just always seem to look better) and now all my phones have the app.

PLEASE recognize that I am just a dude on Reddit and not a terribly tech-savvy one at that. I just outlined the steps I used and it worked no problems. So like if you fuck up your phone or something (I don't see how you could, but in case it happens), don't get mad at me. Google the AltStore if you're unsure/confused about anything.
