absolute insanity. over $100 and tons of plastic later for just 200mg

I recently migrated to Ontario as a permanent resident from Michigan, where I can purchase 200mg packages in fully compostable containers for $15. I decided to just downsize to 30-40mg packs...anyone know if I can recycle these bags?
