Hey everybody, I was lucky enough to see The National this year and then doubly lucky to see them perform my bucket list songs (Humiliation/Murder Me Rachel and Demons). I just found out that my partner has got me tickets to see them again next year at Edinburgh Castle for Christmas and this got me wondering about the subreddit’s own songs they’d like to see, especially those of you who have seen the band many times. I’m most hoping for
Quiet Light (all time favourite, plus the Edinburgh Castle show has a female opening act so a live version with her would be a dream
Pink Rabbits (the song that got me into the band)
So Far Around The Bend (this one feels unlikely but has soundtracked my year, plus I’d love to hear it now that Pavement have gotten back together)
Would love to hear yours
