1. Amanda Righetti(Van Pelt) and Owain Yeoman(Rigsby) will leave the show sometime after their wedding. :(

2. Red John will be long gone before the end of this season.

3. The relationship between Jane and Lisbon: The one question for me and other people that remains to be answered after, if and when Jane and Lisbon are done with Red John, what happens to them? I think their feelings for each other, whatever they are, have been masked by this joint mission they've been on. Now they're getting toward the end of that mission — for good or ill, success or failure. Certainly Lisbon is beginning to think about what happens after and how is that relationship going to change. They've always thought themselves that it's a brother-sister, professional relationship but clearly there is more there that they're not really aware of themselves. Once Red John is gone, if he goes, the real relationship that they have with each other is then exposed to light, if you like, then they have to deal with that. They'll address it head-on? Yeah, yeah. Or, well, not head-on because neither of them are quite aware of their own feelings but as their feelings become clear, then, yeah.

4. In another interview, Heller reveals that The Mentalist showrunners are laying down the plot for the show's post-Red John chapter. Red John, according to Simon Baker, will be revealed within the calendar year.

5. Bruno Heller on Red John revealing We have the answers and it's very important to us, for those people who have been following us from the start, to reveal not in a series of cryptic moments that leave a lot of questions begged.We're going to tell the story and explain who Red John is and what happened and what is going to happen as clearly as possible because the audience deserves that.

6. Gale Bertram (Michael Gaston), Sheriff McAllister (Xander Berkeley), and Reede Smith (Drew Powell) meeting at the CBI headquarters doesn't have to do with their possible connections to the serial killer Red John.

7. New Guest Stars in the show New FBI characters, Nick Abbott (Rockmond Dunbar) and Kim Fischer (Emily Swallow), will have a role to play in the tyger tyger plot. Swallow will play Kim Fischer, an enigmatic woman who is going to have a profound influence on Jane’s life. For now, the actress is committed to doing three episodes.

8. What is Tyger, Tyger? "Tyger, Tyger" is a codeword uttered by law enforcement in order to collaborate when covering up murders or other illegal activity. In future episodes, the link [between law enforcement and Red John] actually gets made and that has big ramifications for CBI.

9. Partridge's death, big clue in finding who Red John is. "Why DID he kill Partridge? What possible reason could he have for that? A very good reason will be revealed down the line. So it’s both a fun way to start the season and embedded in that scene is a big clue to the identity of Red John that will pay off big time later."
