It was my first time watching this show and what an excellent show. I really enjoyed every season. I'm sure if I watched it again I'd be pickier, but overall the show was fantastic from a first time viewer.

Roses arc was really good, she was a character I didn't care for in the first season but starting off season 2 by having her living her best life in Paris was a fantastic idea. I loved how later on she blamed Midge for her personal growth and becoming more independent.

Joel, the scumbag cheater from the first few episodes of season 1 really grows and turns into this great guy who you are rooting for. I just want things to work out for him. As for Midge and Joel's relationship...intriguing. every time they meet I am wondering what is going to happen between them, they seem to have so much love and respect for one another. I was a total sucker for Joel when he punched those two guys outside Midges gig after they were awful hecklers towards her, he shouldn't have beaten them up I suppose, but it was great to see.

I saw a spoiler in this sub about Mei (I brought it onto myself) I was totally against Joel finding someone else as I was totally with Midge while watching the show if that makes sense...but Mei turned out to be so interesting and I hope we learn more about her next season. My theory is, Mei gets an abortion from one of her doctor friends without telling Joel. I know, cruel but I think would cause a lot of drama and is something ASP would be capable of.

Midge, a wonderfully flawed character. Not perfect but so interesting. Not my favourite character but I still love her. As a housewife myself, I find her inspiring. Not that I inspire to be like her anytime soon.

I have a crush on Luke Kirby as Lenny Bruce. He loves Midge and honestly, it took her so long to bang him, seriously Midge 🙄🤣

Jackie, I was so surprised about his death and I looked the actor up and was so sad to find out he had passed in real life. RIP Brian Tarantina. Susie's speech made me cry.

Susie is probably my favourite character and Alex Borstien is amazing as her, she is so funny but when she gets serious, (like when she lost all of Midges money) her acting is really amazing.

Abe is probably my second favourite character. He is so funny and I love his serious moments too.
