Does she do a bit every episode?

Started this show and I thought I liked it and now I’m on the first episode of the second season and come on Midge give it a rest sometimes! I know it’s the style of the show but I can’t help but think about how grating she is lol. You don’t need eyes on you at everyone’s party AND the french cabaret!
So I just need to know if she has to be on some kind of stage every episode.
