In the Order 66 sequence we saw, Grogu was the only youngling who made it out. What didn't occur to me before the last episode was that there must have been way more younglings they initially tried to get out - Grogu was just the only one left alive at the end.
The Naboo guard asks Kelleran Beq if there are no others, so it's clear he was waiting for more of them, not just Grogu. (So no, Yoda didn't have a special contingency plan to get Grogu out).
That means Grogu probably witnessed not only adult Jedi, but also his playmates getting killed until only he was left. Maybe they were a group of dozens of younglings in the beginning, most of them perhaps other toddlers/babies in their little prams.
Now I hope Grogu doesn't get to see Mandalorian foundlings getting killed next.
I have been waiting for his back story from the beginning, I know the show is called “the mandolorian” but I wish they would make a show about Grogu, even if it was just little shorts of him waddling around eating frogs lol I’m obsessed 🤩
