I've been going back and forth on who I'm going to vote for in the primary (Texas) as I just really can't see Biden beating Trump based on all of the polling I've seen and Biden's hardline support for Netanyahu's campaign to eliminate Palestine.
As a Texan my vote for president in November is always meaningless, but I used to feel like primaries mattered. For example, I thought voting for Bernie helped push Biden further left. However, it doesn't seem that played out over his presidency thus far. He's been a decent president minus the Israel response, but it's nowhere close to what a Sanders presidency could have done for the socioeconomic disparity in this country.
Does it matter? A primary vote against Biden doesn't really do anything, does it? At best it shows that he is a weak candidate, maybe, but isn't it too late to replace him?
I'm not sure what would happen if a candidate dies between now and November but I guess there must be something in place for that situation, right? Both these old guys could realistically die in the next few months.
I hate that my anxiety is already elevating and it's only January. Really not looking forward to another Trump presidency, especially with the rhetoric he's been spewing lately. It just seems inevitable.
