In Season 5 Q&A - Part 1, the one with Jonny, Alex, and Elizabeth Moffatt, Elizabeth mentions pretty early on being inspired by some dark ambient albums from Pete Namlook for the monologue Jon does in the finale. She specifically mentions him having some albums (or a single album? idk) with animal sounds in it. I've been listening to and enjoying some Pete Namlook albums lately (I especially love his album "The Ambient Gardener - Autumn"), but he has a lot to comb through.
