as I’ve been doing my relistening of random episodes of tma I’ve been reminded how much I loved and miss the initial couple seasons. Before the hard serialization and conversations being recorded. I miss when it was spooky story read by sarcastic tired archivist and most importantly the follow up material afterwards where they analyze the statements. That is what drew me in and while I loved all of tma, there was a sense of loss in that part and why tmp is not grabbing my attention as wholeheartedly. I’m still enjoying it, but I liked the analysis. That was half the fun of the statements. The follow up that couldn’t quite prove anything but always left a stinger that meant you couldn’t quite disprove it either.
Anyways what I’m saying is I would pay money for more episodes either set in that time or in that format, even as offshoot side projects. Literally just Jonny sims recording spooky stories and being sassy about them
