Was lou2 sales profitable for Sony,or was it financial failure?

There was discussion on this reddit community, that the game was selling below the target. So it considered a loss for Sony.
And since Sony lower the price of the game to 40$ before the end of the game first year, dose it means it true that the game was making losses for Sony?
