I just had to rant about this.

When you first meet Suyin Beifong you learn that she knows people have corrupt pasts but that can all change and the can become a better person with some guidance. (For example her chef she hired after he was a pirate of something.)

Kuvira had already ruined part of the United Republic and shot at her Fiance Bataar Jr. Suyin Beifong forgave Bataar Jr. easily after he did all the stuff along with Kuvira, but he wasn't punished and he was her real son.

When Kuvira did all the damage she did, she was taken into the spirit world with the Avatar Korra and she laid out why she did what she did. Explaining her past how she had no real family until Suying Beifong found her and raised her like she was her own.

Then upon returning to United Republic through the spirit world Suying treated Kuvira like she was trash saying "You will answer for everything you have done"... Suyin says everyone can change after their past mistakes.

I wish Suyin treated her like the daughter of her own. Because I believe Kuvira can change and become someone so much better and actually change the world in a positive way with her Fighting, World Leading, and Innovation in technology.
