In LOK, why wasn’t Korra stronger than she was in season 3 and 4 after the defeat of Vaatu?

In LOK, during the story of Wan, it’s learned that the smaller and weaker Raava is the bigger and stronger Vaatu is, and vice Versa, so technically wouldn’t Korra be exponentially stronger after she defeated Vaatu.
Or would it only effect the avatar state and make her exponentially stronger than.
And if so, why didn’t they demonstrate the strength change?
