He says he wants to burn down the earth kingdom with it but the entire earth kingdom is huge and he has a dozen or so airships tops when he fights aang. He has like half a day at most before the comet is gone again for another century right? idk how he expected to do much of anything significant with the number of ships he had combined with the several hour time constraint of the comet.

Were there other fleets across the earth kingdom doing the same thing? Surely not right as we are not shown the gaang stopping them and are not told about the damage they caused after the fact.

Also even if aang lost he downs ozai's airship and stalls him like an hour or 2 of his already limited time as well right? Is there any scenario where ozai's plan works the way he thinks it will?
